WOOLWORTHS METRO STORE
Woolworths Group is proud to be delivering a small-format Metro store in Mosman Village.
The Metro store located at 731-741 Military Road Mosman was approved by the Land and Environment Court in late 2021, following extensive planning and consultation.
The Metro store will be located within the existing two-storey heritage buildings fronting Military Road. We will restore the heritage shop fronts to retain the high street atmosphere.
Our plans have been carefully considered to complement the area’s existing village while providing more options for the community to shop close to home.
In May 2022, Woolworths lodged a modification to seek minor changes to the plans, including relocation of the roof top plant and equipment within the building; this application was approved in July.
Thank you to the community and neighbours for the engagement throughout the Mosman Metro planning process. We look forward to delivering a well integrated, bespoke retail store for Mosman Village, and will keep the community informed as construction progresses.
Ahead of the store opening in mid 2023, we will seek community input to help inform the range of products we will stock for customers in-store at the new Mosman Metro.
The Metro store will provide around 520 sqm of ground floor retail, with the upper level used for storage and team office space (this compares to more than 3,600 sqm for a standard full-line supermarket).
Store operating hours will be from 7am to 10pm
Monday to Saturday
and 8am to 10pm

LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY
Woolworths Group will continue to engage with the community during construction. We will also consult locals to inform the product range in-store as we approach the store opening in mid 2023.
The community feedback played a significant role in Woolworths delivering a substantially smaller store designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing village feel of Mosman.
